
What a beautiful sight. The larger male Giant Heron goes after the sticks and passes them on the the female as she sits and guards the nest so no one takes over. She then takes the stick and builds the nest. The male then goes after the next stick and on and on. This photograph was taken near Boynton Beach, FL on April 4, 2008.
