I used a converted camera for the Infrared shot. The white balance was set to custom and balanced off a white sheet of paper in the sun. File was jpeg. In CS3 I reversed the numbers in a Channel Mixer adjustment layer for blues and reds in both the blue and red channels and this is the result.


This single bridge shot was way too bright with a white sky and way too dark shadows under the bridge. I used Photomatix Pro to fix the image with tone compression.
Wild flowers called Lady Slippers (wild orchids) are found in Door County, WI from Memorial week through the end of June. This pair was located at "The Clearing" in Ellison Bay,WI. The image was photographed hand held using a Canon G9 P&S camera with an ISO of 800.

The top original single image was done on a tripod in a Castle in Germany. The bottom image was tone mapped with Photomatix Pro using the Detail Enhancer.
I had fun tone mapping my Infrared Image "Tuscan Sky". The added details makes the print glow.
Tone Mapping adds grain and details of the sand stone. This was done on Photomatix Pro using the Details Enhancer.

This beautiful restored Miller's house is next to the Graue Mill in Oak Brook, IL.
Using 5 images of various exposures placed into a High Dynamic Range Image, details are viewable in both the shadows and highlights.
