
Using the light from a Sunset and Outdoor Spot Lights, I was able to get almost a surreal look.
Flying from Portland, OR to Chicago after the PSA conference, I put in a request to pilot of the aircraft to give me a good view of Mount Hood. I also asked him to tip the wing a little. I was very grateful for getting this shot from the plane window. The request did not take any extra fuel and I think the pilot was honored by my request. Window seats can be nice for photographers if you are on the side opposite the sun.
This night image on the river in Portland, OR is almost zany but fun. The almost daylight look came from all the various lights on the bridge and city lights including a search light.
