I combined a boy with a face painting and a old Birch Tree trunk. In the Layers group, I changed the Blend Mode to Difference on the top layer (Birch Tree) and this is what happens. Playing around with blend modes and various images, can be a surprise every time.
This photo was taken with a short lens on a point and shoot camera with an ISO way too high. I used Topaz Buz effect to make it more like a painting than a poor grainy/noisy photo.
This old farm house and out buildings (barns etc. is open for viewing. I was amazed at the quality of the building structures and upkeep.
It took 4 separate images to get this vertical image of the new Trump Tower. Because the sky was overcast, the infrared did not have the usual pop.
I had to stop and grab this shot in the Door County area of Wisconsin. Beautiful day and the canon G10 was adequate.
This old treadle sewing machine was located in the Heritage Farm Barn in Wisconsin. The sun was very bright from the window and had to control it with HDR exposures.


These old buildings were once home to migrant workers in Door County, WI who did field work and picking in the orchards. Now in disrepair and abandoned. Many photos of these old buildings are to be had before they fall to the ground.
Built around the turn of the century this hand poured silo is on a historic farm in Wisconsin. The silo was cleaned out and used as a play area for cuhildren
This little retreat house was where Jens Jensen went to retreat at The Clearing in Ellison Bay, Door County, Wisconsin.

I cropped an image, used a toning preset on Lightroom 2 and then used a Topaz plug-in to make the top image more painterly.
While riding on a boat on The Chicago River, I took a pix of the reflection of three skyscrapers in the glass windows of another building. I turned the color pix into a sepia image.
From the Evanston Beach this lonely Sea Gull passed by with a beautiful Sunrise over Lake Michigan. I ran the image through Topax Simpfily and made more of a painting like image.
