Water Falls are still a favorite. This still photograph does not have the sound of the moving water but we can still capture the action of the water and details of the setting through HDR.
Using a 17-40 wide angle zoom on a Canon 5D II, I shot various over and under exposures and combined them in to a 32 bit image in Photomatix Pro. My goal was shooting a waterfall with slow shutter speeds to get the milky look to the water and also have control of the shadows and highlights using HDR software to combine the images.
