More Winter Photography on the Des Plaines River
The colder the weather, the better the ice formations. Probably 20 degrees below will make the Dam in the river an exciting place to photograph ice sculptures formed by the water coming over the dam. These platters of ice suspended above the river almost look like wings of a bird. This Dam is located in downtown Des Plaines near the railroad bridge. ¶ 4:54 PM
