What is it? Before throwing away a piece of wrapping paper from a Birthday gift, I shot a few frames of the paper. I changed it from shinny silver to B&W and then played with the contrast. I probably really did not make it better, but I learned a lot from the process. John Sexton, photographer and former assistant to Ansel Adams has said "the difference between me and my students is that I have made more mistakes". We as photographers have got to get in there and photograph and make the mistakes, play around and then learn from our mistakes.
