Tools of the Fisherman
This boat and all the rigging was ready for another day and night out at sea. I was standing on the dock only 6 feet from the boat and my lens was not wide enough to cover the boat. I shot 5 separate images and made a vertical panoramic photo. They were stitched together in CS4.
Walking around a fishing dock near Astoria, OR, I was amazed at the various ropes, lines, nets and gear needed by the commercial fisherman. I changed the single image into a sepia toned image which seemed to add more texture in the monochromatic effect.
